Projects Abroad is one of the leading international volunteer organisations. Since being founded in 1992, Projects Abroad has sent over 100,000 volunteers to over 30 different countries on 5 continents, currently at a rate of 10,000 per year. Volunteers take part in a variety of worthwhile overseas placements working in partnership with local communities.

Our programmes and volunteers have featured in many publications including: The Times, The Sunday Express Magazine, Evening Standard, The Independent, The Independent Careers Magazines ("Fresh" and "You Can"), Newsweek and The Weekly News (Glasgow).

Our staff and volunteers have also given interviews on local and national radio and TV stations, including; BBC News 24 and BBC Radio Scotland.
