1000th Peru Conservation Volunteer Arrives at Taricaya
Last month the 1000th Peru Conservation volunteer arrived on the project. Conservation Director Stuart Timson tells us more:
"All in all it has been a fantastically successful summer in Taricaya and we have achieved so much. I must mention that on the 18th of July with the arrival of ten people on the same day we welcomed our 1000th volunteer to Taricaya. It is staggering to think that we have been helped by so many people over the last nine years and the achievements of today would never have been possible without the work of every single person who came before them. It has been an honour to meet so many dedicated people that have allowed me to follow my personal dream and Taricaya is a tribute to every last one of them."
