Volunteering abroad

The UK Government is looking at creating an International Citizen Service (ICS) and they want to pick the brains of former Projects Abroad volunteers. The ICS aims to help young people get involved in overseas volunteering. The plan is to encourage 18-22 year olds to volunteer in the developing world in order to help local people. They will also be looking to recruit skilled team leaders and mentors.

If you have volunteered with Projects Abroad in the past then you can help by taking part in an online survey. This is being run by the think tank Demos in order to get the opinion of people who know what it is like to volunteer.
