Conservation volunteers in Cambodia join us throughout the year and often stay for many months, however, next summer we will be launching Conservation & Community 2-Week Special projects in Cambodia where volunteers can join us for just two weeks to learn to dive and help out with a community project on the paradise island of Ko Rong Samleom.

However, next summer is still a long way off and the staff on the Conservation project are keen to get some extra help to complete a children’s playground on the island before the end of this year. We are therefore also offering a special 2-week long project from the 9th – 22nd December 2012.

Volunteers joining this project will get one dive course included (either PADI Open Water or PADI Advanced course, depending on your current level) and will be involved in practical building work on a children’s playground in the local village.

Volunteers will also help with a beach clean-up and sporting fun day for the village children.

Of course, if you join us on a longer Conservation project in Cambodia which includes the middle two weeks in December, you will also be able to help with the playground if you wish.
